Nate serves as Co-President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Nicollet. In this role, he leads the firm’s Flagship Large Cap strategy, serves on the Investment Committee, and plays a central role in key management and strategic decisions.
He brings deep expertise in fundamentals-driven research and analysis across Nicollet’s portfolios. Since 2019, Nate has served as co-Portfolio Manager of the Flagship Large Cap equity strategy, where he has consistently demonstrated strong market insight and disciplined portfolio construction, contributing to favorable risk-adjusted outcomes for clients.
Nate is known for delivering highly customized, tax-aware investment solutions for both private investors and institutional clients. Nick serves as Chief Investment Officer at Nicollet Investment Management, where he chairs the Investment Committee and leads our Small- and Mid-Cap Premier Portfolio strategy.
With more than three decades of experience in the investment industry—dating back to the 1990s—Nick is a seasoned expert in constructing and managing concentrated small- and mid-cap equity portfolios through rigorous, fundamentals-driven individual stock selection. His deep market insight and disciplined portfolio construction process enable him to identify exceptional businesses with durable competitive advantages, strong profitability, and attractive valuations—building resilient, high-conviction holdings designed for long-term compounding and risk-adjusted outperformance.

With more than 30 years of deep fixed income experience, Tim has cultivated an extensive national network of broker-dealers and institutional relationships. This vast rolodex provides Nicollet clients with superior access to a broad range of investment-grade bonds—often at more favorable pricing and execution than smaller or less-connected firms can achieve.

Prior to joining Nicollet, Heidi excelled as a Senior Wealth Management Associate at U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management. In that role, she partnered directly with multiple financial advisors, managing the full lifecycle of client relationships—from onboarding and account maintenance to coordination of planning, reporting, money movements, and compliance requirements—ensuring seamless execution across complex books of business.
At Nicollet, Heidi provides direct support to Kathy Carlson, Director of Operations, while leading office administration, process optimization, team coordination, vendor management, and compliance-related workflows.
